tuesday is for (art) lovers – leah duncan
Leah Duncan is one of my all-time favorite illustrators. The softness and femininity of her pieces always strikes me, and I can imagine her work all over my walls in a heartbeat (especially these drab standard white apartment walls…)
what better way to spice up your space? besides her art prints, she also designs beautiful fabric for pillows and tea towels and other great things for use in the rest of your home.
If you’d like to become as avid a fan as I’ve become over the last few years, you should definitely check out Leah’s shop, website, blog, and twitter! Her style is really addicting, with the pastel colors and pretty illustrations that tie modern style with boho delicacy. I love it!
tuesday is for (art) lovers – Tracey Long of Chasing the Crayon
today I want to introduce you to Tracey Long. She’s an illustrator out of the UK, and she creates the most beautiful characters.
her style is soft and feminine, and envelopes your entire imagination in an instant. She lets your mind inhabit such charming little worlds, one illustration at a time.
Check out Tracey’s Etsy shop, blog, website, flickr, and follow her on Twitter to see what other wondrous worlds she’s cooking up!

tuesday is for (art) lovers – John Vogl of The Bungaloo
this post is a little different than past (art) lover posts, because today i’m focusing on the gig poster art of John Vogl. his print studio operates under the name The Bungaloo, all of his work is stunning, but i am absolutely in love with his gig posters.
besides the fact that he makes posters for some of my favorite bands, his work is flawlessly executed.
check out the rest of his work too, because he does much more than gig posters, and he does it all incredibly well! he can be found on Etsy, BigCartel, his website, his blog, Twitter, and this guy is so cool he even has his own iPad/iPhone app! it’s free in the app store, just search “The Bungaloo”. So cool!
