tuesday is for (art) lovers – Ana Raimondo of Fric de Mentol
Ana’s artwork is more than just prints and paper, and some of her wall art (like the ones pictured above) ingeniously combines screen printing and embroidery, beautifully showcasing her talent across many mediums.
i absolutely love her versatility! the ones above are gocco prints and below is an illustration using a combination of acrylic and watercolor.
jump into her world and visit her Etsy shop, Facebook fan page, and her blog.

with love from pinterest – comfy spring
it’s hard sometimes to be creative with pieces of clothing we’re sick of looking at, and i don’t know about you, but i have the tendency to find a couple things that look great together and then never wear those things with anything else. it’s like they’re connected and they have to be worn together in that same way once i find out that it looks good that way. so it’s hard for me to break away from that, but i’m working on making my closet options more versatile without buying any new clothes…. we’ll see how long that lasts. i also have the tendency to get so sick of looking at things that i get rid of half my closet and start over, whether my pockets can afford it or not. let’s just call them bad habits…
pinterest, as always, is where i go to solve all of my fashion problems. i just need to go find/create a few staple pieces from what’s already in my closet and maybe someday i can look like i know something about fashion…
what are your fashion inspirations? any pieces in your closet you can’t live without?
